About the role
Rady Children’s Health seeks to hire a Medical Scribe (Per Diem) for the Physiatry department at Children's Specialist of San Diego.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient encounters by documenting patient history, physical exams, and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare charts and medical records for physician review.
- Manage electronic health record systems to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Scribe program or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
