Community Health Outreach Worker- Bilingual Spanish

About the role
As a Community Outreach Worker, you’ll be a frontline ambassador for TrueCare, responsible for engaging with underserved populations and connecting them to essential health services. You’ll coordinate and attend community events, distribute educational materials, and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to promote health awareness and increase patient enrollment. Your work will help reduce barriers to care, improve health outcomes, and foster trust between TrueCare and the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Engage with underserved populations to connect them with health resources and education
- Coordinate and attend community events
- Distribute educational materials
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to promote health awareness and increase patient enrollment
- Conduct health screenings and community presentations
Requirements
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent experience in outreach, healthcare, or customer service
- Knowledge of local community-based agencies
- Availability to work outside of standard hours (e.g., evenings, weekends)
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships across diverse populations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay
The pay range for this role is $23 - $32.20 per hour. Pay is determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. We also consider internal equity of our current team members when determining an offer.
