About the role

Northern Learning Trust supports people and communities to build confidence, develop skills and move towards learning, employment and financial stability. We work alongside people who may face multiple barriers, using informal learning, mentoring and practical support to help them make positive changes in their lives.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Community Engagement Tutor to establish and deliver our Learning Hive provision in Ashington, Northumberland. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our community-based learning offer, engage local people and partners, and provide high-quality support that helps learners progress.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deliver the Learning Hive provision in Ashington
• Engage local people and partners in community-based learning
• Provide high-quality support to help learners progress
• Build relationships with community organisations, referral partners, and learners

Requirements

• Qualified tutor with experience engaging and supporting adults who face barriers to learning, employment, or progression
• Learner-centered, organized, and confident in relationship-building
• Alignment with Northern Learning Trust’s values and mission
