Community Engagement Leadership

About the role

The Niles Foundation is a 501c3 mobilizing access to land, food, clean energy, education, training, leadership, and environmental change to meet the everyday basic needs of our communities. We create long-term solutions empowering results for BIPOC, low-income, historically disadvantaged, and underserved communities.

This opportunity is based in Los Angeles County and is in-person.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
• Conduct surveys and gather community feedback
• Support workshops, events, and resource fairs
• Assist with volunteer coordination
• Support research and special projects
• Represent TNF programs in the community

Requirements

• Current student, recent graduate, or emerging professional
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in community service and nonprofit work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Enthusiasm for making a positive community impact

Schedule

Flexible part-time volunteer, fellow, or intern role; local travel necessary.
