Core Responsibilities

  • Aid in designing and executing Aligned’s national community engagement strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of regional Liaisons, providing strategic leadership and resources.
  • Advise on sensitive political and reputational issues from Community Liaisons.
  • Maintain an overview of macro-sentiment across all markets to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure community feedback influences investment and project design.
  • Standardize, scale, and refine Aligned’s community engagement playbook and digital workflow.
  • Represent Aligned in high-level engagements and industry conferences.
  • Provide data-driven insights and messaging related to community engagement health and social impact.
  • Architect and execute high-impact community engagement programs aligned with corporate social responsibility goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in public affairs, community relations, or government affairs, with leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in the data center, energy, or large-scale infrastructure sectors.
  • Ability to navigate political environments and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience synthesizing disparate data points into a cohesive national strategy.
  • Experience building scalable systems to manage community engagement data.
  • Proven ability to guide teams through sensitive public discussions and build consensus among diverse community groups.
