Community Engagement Intern

As an intern within the Member Engagement team, your work will contribute to a positive Member experience by helping Merit Members reach their strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Summarize member initiatives by scanning member websites, entering data into Google Notebook, and sharing a spreadsheet of Notebook links with the team.
- Pull USF data, map sites using ArcGIS, and send all information to designated team members as directed by the E-rate Coordinator.
- Community Engagement projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Coursework or interest in business, communications, or marketing.
- Passion for collecting and organizing data and assets.
- Strong writing and verbal skills.
- Ability to review, plan, and carry out projects as defined.
- Comfortable working with and communicating with a variety of people.
- Community organization or volunteerism experience.

Schedule
This is a hybrid work opportunity requiring an average of 10 hours per week. Working hours are flexible within Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4:30 PM, with a preference for in-person work on Wednesdays at Merit’s Ann Arbor office (880 Technology Drive, Suite B, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). The internship is intended to be longer-term, reviewed annually based on organizational needs and your availability.
