About the role

Our Global Technology Infrastructure group is a team of innovators who are passionate about technology. Together, you'll use a disciplined, innovative, and business-focused approach to develop high-quality communications in a stable, resilient, and secure operating environment. As part of the internal community engagement and communications capability within the Compute, Networking, and Storage (CNS) organization, you will create and execute an effective communications plan that is engaging, creative, timely, and informative.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic communications plan for the CNS organization and execute against it.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive communications calendar, including channels.
  • Author and publish CNS-related content on our intranet home page, including news articles and employee profiles.
  • Research and draft a variety of communications, such as program updates and organization announcements.
  • Plan and execute CNS town hall and quarterly senior officer events, including preparing invitations, decks, talking points, and briefings.
  • Produce regular newsletters, partnering with leads across product lines to create engaging and informative content.
  • Identify and implement ways to constantly improve communications across CNS, making them fresh, creative, and engaging by suggesting new ideas and channel strategies.
  • Create and adhere to a style guide for all communications.
  • Leverage design standards, ensuring adherence to our brand strategy and templates.
  • Build strong relationships with members of the Global Technology Internal Communications team to ensure alignment of messaging, share best practices, and optimize resource use.
  • Complete work collaboratively and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of corporate communications experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding writing, proofreading, and copy-editing skills with experience in internal communications for large, global organizations.
  • Experience with visual storytelling; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in event management, support, and execution for senior executives a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with and developing relationships with professionals at all levels in a corporate environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for design.
  • Great team player with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and willing to do what is required to deliver a superior product.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage several different types of projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English language communications required.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes.
