Overview
The Alzheimer's Association seeks a Community Educator/Public Speaker to educate the public on Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and brain health. The position is hybrid, requiring volunteers to be in or near Half Moon Bay, CA.
Available Times
Weekdays (daytime, evenings), Weekends (daytime, evenings)
Time Commitment
A few hours per month
Commitment Details
1-year term preferred. Programs are scheduled year round but demand varies—work with your availability! Most events are 1-2 hours long.

Volunteer Requirements
- Passionate about the Alzheimer's Association mission with personal or professional experience with dementia preferred
- Must be age 21 to apply
- Background checks are required
- Must have access to a personal computer and internet
- Comfortable with computers and familiar with email and PPT presentations
- Ability to network in the community and collaborate with Alzheimer’s staff and other volunteers
