About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager with a passion for civil engineering to join our dynamic team. This role offers opportunities to lead projects from concept to completion, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and contributing to the growth of our Community Development Group.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for the project team responsible for preparing grading, drainage, wet utility, street improvements, and other civil engineering design documents.
  • Manage multiple projects, developing proposals and managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead the Design Team on civil engineering related services.
  • Day-to-day project oversight and communication with the client and project team.
  • Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.
  • Prepare project status reports on a regular basis.
  • Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
  • Reports to Senior Associate.
  • Aid in developing new work opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Responsible for the overall project performance and implementation of our project management frameworks.
  • Primary point of contact and representative to internal partners and clients.

Requirements

  • General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of design and construction permitting / approval process and requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil3D, locally accepted hydrology and hydraulic programs, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and team-oriented.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Local project resume and experience strongly preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Credentials

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Pay and Schedule

The pay range for this position is $126,400.00 - $189,600.00 annually. The schedule is full-time.

Qualified candidates should have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to sustainability and community development.
