Community Development - Animal Shelter Manager
About the role
The City of Rolla, MO (pop 20,423) is recruiting an Animal Shelter Manager to manage the newly constructed Rolla Animal Shelter (Shelter).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resources to ensure proper care of animals housed within the Shelter.
- Coordinate community engagement activities to facilitate the adoption of animals from the Shelter and encourage spay and neuter programs.
- Work with local not-for-profits in the community focused on animal welfare and fundraising.
Requirements
- A combination of education and experience working with animal shelter facilities or organizations specializing in the management of animal rescue facilities and programs.
- Post high school education desired.
- Three years progressively responsible related experience.

Benefits
Salary range of $42,800 - $59,246 plus excellent benefits. Hiring salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.
