About the role
Join our team of dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of families and children. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your skills in advocacy and case management within our Foster Care program at Devereux.
Responsibilities
- Manage foster parents and children, develop and implement individualized service plans
- Coordinate transportation as needed
- Connect families to referrals, services and resources
- Provide active visitation to homes and various settings
- Document and report on cases
- Handle crisis management and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a human services related field required
- Masters Degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in child welfare, foster care or in-home crisis interventions
- Experience providing clinical and/or case management services to children and families
- Excellent therapeutic skills, written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Previous DFCS or CPA experience preferred
- Experience with SHINES system a huge plus
Other Qualifications
- Strong technical skills and comfortable utilizing in-house computer applications for documentation and reporting purposes
- Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class

Schedule
Hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
