Community Canvasser - Greenlight America ($21-22/hr bonuses)

Join our efforts to advocate for clean energy initiatives! We are seeking dedicated canvassers and team leaders to engage with voters through door-to-door grassroots outreach, promoting utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role contributes to a stronger local economy, healthier environment, and community protection while offering experience in leadership, communication, advocacy, community outreach, campaign work, public policy, and social enterprise.

About the role

Positions are available in Denver, CO and Beaver Falls, PA. All roles run through July 2 with potential for advancement. Shifts are Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with options for full-time or part-time work.

Pay

• Canvassers: $21/hour
• Team Leaders: $22/hour
• Shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and referral bonuses available

Responsibilities

Canvassers

• Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
• Deliver a compelling campaign message, collect voter survey answers, and persuade voters to sign a clean energy pledge
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
• Follow the campaign's safety protocols

Team Leaders

The above responsibilities, plus:

• Manage a small group of canvassers in the field, including periodic check-ins and end-of-day debriefs
• Ensure canvassers have all necessary materials for success
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

• Prior canvassing experience preferred but not required
