Job Summary

The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Crisis Response Team (CRT) Peer Support Specialist (PSS) is an individual who is in recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders and provides experience, strength, and hope to individuals, their families, and significant others who are seeking help for themselves or their loved ones. The CRT PSS responds to calls dispatched by the Phoenix Fire Alarm Room and/or the CBI Access to Care Line, engages in in-field interactions with patients, and ensures all documentation is completed.

Skills/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required
  • Peer certification within 90-days of hire required
  • Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing)
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
