Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor

About the role

The Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor will be part of a regional team that provides on-site monitoring and reviews of DCS community based contracted provider businesses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews throughout DCS regions 9, 10, and 11 which covers the central part of the state.
• Evaluate DCS services and billing to assure there are no errors and billing has been performed appropriately.
• Educate, recommend, and create plans of corrections when any errors are found.
• Conduct audits throughout the same regions as listed above.
• Perform a more comprehensive look at a providers practices from point of service to billing.
• Educate, recommend, and create plans of corrections as well as pursue any financial damages to the state within this process.
• Travel in a team to DCS contracted provider locations to conduct reviews and audits.
• Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly division meetings, and quarterly face to face meetings in Central Office in Marion County.
• Suggest process improvement within the team and within the division.
• Adhere to all applicable state laws, policies, service standards, and procedures.
• Participate in training to maintain a full understanding of their position and its responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting on-site monitoring and reviews of community based contracted provider businesses.
• Knowledge of state laws, policies, service standards, and procedures relevant to DCS community based contracts.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations of provider practices from point of service to billing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and recommend corrective actions.
• Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis and compliance checks.
• Ability to travel frequently to DCS provider locations within the specified regions.
