Ambulatory Cardiology Rotation
The goal of this rotation is to provide residents with training in both consultative and longitudinal care for patients with a variety of cardiovascular and associated conditions. Through these experiences, residents will understand the unique challenges related to practicing outside of the greater Portland area including patient access to care and resources.
Rotation Details
- Duration: 2 or 4 weeks
- Rotation Directors: Laura Onderko, MD (Lewiston) and Roisin Morgan, MD (Augusta)
Location
- MMP/MaineHealth cardiology offices in Lewiston and/or Augusta
Activities
- Outpatient cardiology visits
- Review of cardiac imaging, EKGs, and stress testing
- Inpatient consultation opportunities available
