Responsibilities

• Sell prospects and customers through a trusted advisor role, assisting them in recognizing opportunities and managing risks.
• Negotiate and establish terms for commercial credit extensions, considering cost, risk, and profitability.
• Analyze financial information to assess a customer's creditworthiness.
• Present recommendations to the loan committee and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the credits being considered.
• Ensure the profitability of all commercial relationships within your portfolio.
• Maintain and monitor loan repayment activities, collections, and credit and collateral issues.
• Avoid non-compliance with loan policies and procedures, maintaining complete documentation for internal and external audits.
• Present and negotiate terms for consumer credit extensions, ensuring adherence to costs, repayment methods, and collateral requirements.
• Engage actively in the community through involvement in business organizations, events, and non-profit organizations.
• Set and achieve personal and team goals, contributing positively to a collaborative environment.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing required compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or relevant job experience is preferred.
• Two to four years of lending experience with developed sales skills are preferred.
• Experience in the local market is required for a comprehensive understanding of the lending environment and potential customer base.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and lending-specific software is necessary.
• NMLS certification is required.
