About the Role
Leland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Wesley Chapel, FL area. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Support staff includes: HR, Accounting Manager(s), Resident Support, IT, Web Team and annual 3-Day Corporate Training.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and day-to-day implementation of the procedures and programs that will ensure well-managed and maintained property
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the community to ensure excellent service
- Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor all maintenance programs relating to the property and aesthetic appearance, building strong relationships with vendors
- Serve as the sole and ultimate liaison for all resolutions of the property, utilizing sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts
- Manage individual account information with the utmost confidentiality, communicating professionally both oral and written information effectively
- Develop and monitor property budgets on a timely basis in a manner that supports the financial expectations of the Board and Association
- Coordinate, negotiate and issue vendor contracts for property services in accordance with the management agreement
- Prepare a monthly board package to the Board of Directors consisting of a management report outlining actions required, proposals, correspondence and financial reporting
- Daily use of company software (Caliber), Word and Excel documents for communication, organization and detailed follow-through
- Assist boards with day-to-day aspects of managing an association, preparing for and conducting association meetings, reviewing financial reports, preparing budgets, project management, preparing service bids and overseeing contractors
Requirements
- Experience with site inspections, covenant enforcement, and assisting boards with association management
- Knowledgeable with Florida Statutes and proficient with understanding and executing the requirements of the governing documents of an association
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work with a team
- Experience in Association Software such as Caliber is helpful
