About the Role

Leland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Clermont, FL area. The position is full-time (Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional weekends and evenings) with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day implementation of procedures and programs to ensure well-managed and maintained property
  • Conduct site inspections and covenant enforcement
  • Assist boards with day-to-day aspects of managing an association
  • Prepare for and conduct association meetings
  • Review financial reports and prepare budgets
  • Manage projects, prepare service bids, and oversee contractors
  • Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor all maintenance programs relating to the property and aesthetic appearance
  • Build strong relationships with vendors
  • Serve as the sole and ultimate liaison for all resolutions of the property, utilizing sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts
  • Manage individual account information with utmost confidentiality
  • Communicate professionally both orally and in writing
  • Develop and monitor property budgets on a timely basis that supports the financial expectations of the Board and Association
  • Coordinate, negotiate, and issue vendor contracts for property services in accordance with the management agreement
  • Prepare a monthly board package consisting of a management report outlining actions required, proposals, correspondence, and financial reporting
  • Daily use of company software (Caliber), Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel for communication, organization, and detailed follow-through

Requirements

  • Must be a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager
  • 2+ years' work experience in Association Management with prior people and project management experience with condominiums, apartments, hotels, time-shares, developer, townhomes, or homeowner's associations
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida Statute 718 (Condominium Law), including compliance, governance, and operational requirements for condominium associations
  • Knowledgeable with Florida Statutes and proficient with understanding and executing the requirements of the governing documents of an association
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience in an environment requiring high levels of customer service
  • Highly motivated and confident professional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills
  • Competent in Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with financial reports and budgets
  • Ability to work with a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Association Software such as Caliber
  • Experience managing RV resorts or lifestyle-driven residential communities
  • Knowledge of hospitality or resort operations, with an emphasis on resident and guest experience, amenity management, and service standards
