About the role

The Community Association Manager (CAM) position involves working closely with clients and vendors, and partnering with other Associa departments. Key responsibilities include acting as or overseeing the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners, traveling to client associations to attend board meetings, performing inspections, conducting walk-throughs, and attending community events. Other duties include preparing annual disclosure packages, arranging bulk mailing of financial statements, reviewing financial reports, and providing recommendations for major capital expenditures.

Responsibilities

  • Act as or oversee the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.
  • Travel to client associations to attend board meetings, perform inspections, conduct walk-throughs, and attend community events as needed and per the management agreement.
  • Prepare annual disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statement packages for all homeowners and arrange bulk mailing of same within the time frames set by state statute or governing documents.
  • Review monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.
  • Provide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook).
  • Experience in Community Management, customer service, hospitality or other related industry.
  • Proficiency in typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Customer Service and conflict resolution.
  • Able to work effectively with others in person and in group settings.
  • Able to prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally on phone, email, and in-person.
