The world of work is changing… short commutes, flexibility, and convenience are the minimum standards employees want when it comes to how they want to work! At IWG we’ve built the world’s largest workspace network in over 120 countries, enabling customers to work from wherever they want. Join us to bring more freedom to people and businesses while enjoying a great work‑life balance, competitive benefits, and clear career growth.
The opportunity
As a Community Associate you will work closely with new and existing customers across a variety of industries, creating and maintaining a vibrant community within your center. You will handle administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their businesses.
A typical day
- Arrive before the center opens to ensure everything is ready and address any cleaning oversights.
- Assist customers throughout the morning with requests such as changing Wi‑Fi codes, locating packages, providing directions, setting up projectors, and recommending coffee.
- Verify that services are properly charged to keep invoices accurate.
- Sort incoming mail while responding to additional customer inquiries.
- Support afternoon customers with printing, invoicing, and facility issues (e.g., temperature concerns) by opening tickets in the service portal.
- Organize the next week’s networking event: write e‑invites, create and post posters, and coordinate with the City Manager as needed.
- Engage prospects, share the benefits of the IWG community, and encourage them to join upcoming events.
- Wrap up the day by gently reminding groups to finish meetings, suggesting nearby dining options, and ensuring the center is tidy before leaving.
