Community Associate

Training and work location until 9/28/2026: 3031 Tisch Way, San Jose, CA 95128. Permanent location: 680 East Romie Lane, 1st & 2nd Floor, Salinas, CA 93901.

About the role

As a Community Associate, you’ll work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries, creating and maintaining your own community within your center. You will handle all administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their business.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early to prepare the center for opening and ensure cleanliness.
• Assist customers with WiFi access, package deliveries, meeting room setup (including projectors), and directions.
• Manage incoming calls and ensure services are properly charged for accurate invoicing.
• Sort and distribute mail while handling various customer requests.
• Assist with printing, invoicing, and resolving facility issues (e.g., temperature control).
• Organize and promote networking events, including creating e-invites and posters.
• Engage with prospects to highlight the benefits of the IWG community.
• Ensure the center is tidy at closing and gently manage meeting room schedules.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills and experience building professional relationships (1+ years of customer service preferred).
• Problem-solving mindset with a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT equipment.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old.
