About the role

Community Animal Hospital, a busy 4-doctor practice in Easton, Maryland, is seeking an additional Veterinarian to join our team. As a staple of our Eastern Shore community, we have been practicing since 1984 and have grown throughout the years. Our clients are raving fans as one can see from our 4.9 star Google rating. Our clinic has a small town feel – we are proud to have served generations of families.

Responsibilities

  • Practice excellent patient care and client service
  • Collaborate with a 4-doctor team
  • Enjoy strong, values-based leadership working alongside our Medical Director and Practice Manager
  • Strong clinical skills in the areas of internal medicine, dermatology, advanced surgery, and exotic medicine

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: internal medicine, dermatology, advanced surgery, or exotic medicine

Qualifications

  • Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and a desire to grow professionally

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Benefits

  • Full-time, experienced veterinarian with strong surgical skills base salary: $140-175k. Commensurate with skillset, experience, schedule and your preferred pace.
  • Additional opportunities to earn: Highly competitive monthly, no negative accrual bonus plan. Bonus plan is not mandatory (for candidates preferring straight salary).
  • Equity opportunity available starting early 2025.

  • Base salary: $140-175k
  • Commensurate with skillset, experience, schedule and your preferred pace.
