About the role
We are seeking an Instructor who shares our passion for our mission and has an interest in training the next generation of Medical Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Train high school students in Medical Assisting to prepare them for certification and employment.
- Develop and implement curricula that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with other educators and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive training.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in medical assisting and incorporate these into the curriculum.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), OR Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- Two years medical assistant or related experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience within an accredited educational institution.
- Leadership experience.
Skills
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students and staff.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.

Pay Range: 24.36 - 30.45 USD per hour
