Responsibilities
- Learn about Texas Mutual’s community partnerships.
- Participate in the grant-making process.
- Help with tasks related to event sponsorship commitments.
- Use online platforms that track volunteering and charitable giving.
- Select and complete research projects on Community Affairs topics.
- Gain an understanding of the importance of corporate citizenship.
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned by the department.
- Participate in division meetings and trainings.
- Attend multiple in-person events, as a representative of Texas Mutual.
- Collaborate with partners to further our philanthropic mission.
Qualifications
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Must have an interest in at least one of the following: non-profit relations, charitable giving, corporate communications, corporate citizenship practice, grant-making, sponsorship management, public relations, cause marketing or community partnerships.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
Internship Details
- Duraton: fall and spring internship to begin September 8, 2026 (end date is flexible).
- Location: Austin, TX; in-person; potential for limited remote work later in the internship.
- Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible).
- Compensation: $26.00 an hour.
- Benefits: Not included with internship positions.
