Job Responsibilities
- Execute Chargers youth football camps, tournaments, and community events across Los Angeles County.
- Own the full operation of each assigned activation: equipment load-in, event setup, drill station execution, and post-event breakdown.
- Create a sideline-worthy atmosphere at every activation: loud, competitive, and energetic.
- Coach the fundamentals of football including routes, blocking schemes, defensive concepts, rules, and positional responsibilities, adjusted to the age and skill level of each group.
- Keep students safe on the field at all times. Identify injuries or medical situations quickly and respond according to Chargers protocols.
- Load, unload, inventory, and maintain the equipment truck and storage area between activations.
- Travel to school campuses and community venues across Los Angeles and greater Southern California for all assigned activations.
- Represent the Los Angeles Chargers with the professionalism and standard expected of an NFL organization.
- Opportunity to work cross-functionally across various company events.

Job Qualifications
- Available on weekdays during school hours and select evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the year.
- Demonstrated knowledge of football, including a strong understanding of rules, positions, offensive and defensive schemes, and fundamental skills at the youth or varsity level.
- Proven experience coaching, training, or supporting youth athletes within a structured or organized program.
- Strong group management skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and maintain high energy levels among youth participants throughout sessions and events.
- Able to collaborate effectively with fellow coaches, school personnel, and Football Development leadership to ensure a unified and professional program environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and remaining on your feet for extended periods during full-day events and activities.
- Ability to perform job duties outdoors under varying weather and environmental conditions.
- Access to reliable transportation and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous playing or coaching experience in tackle or flag football at the high school level or higher.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Familiarity with Southern California communities and neighborhoods where programs will be conducted.
