About the role

Volunteers of America North Louisiana is a faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunity, promoting dignity, and inspiring change in its communities. Established in 1896, the organization was founded by social reformers Ballington and Maud Booth and has since grown to operate 40 programs tackling pressing issues like housing, health, and human services.

Responsibilities

• Implement the CIS model of integrated student services
• Lead the annual needs assessment process
• Develop and implement school site and individual student plans
• Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based services
• Maintain and adjust services based on effectiveness
• Evaluate the effectiveness of services and report progress
• Lead the Site Team in annual reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related field
• Experience working with school-age children
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
