About the role
Responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software products that meet business needs and user requirements
- Collaborate with product managers to understand project goals and objectives
- Lead design and development efforts, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software meets standards
- Work closely with designers and other engineers to integrate new features and functionality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Experience leading software development teams
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of software development tools and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
