Communications Strategist (Clearance Required)

About the role

Assist the U.S. Government in support of its communications and marketing. Provide event support, including product content, coordination, and participation. Work alongside a broader communications team and data visualization experts.

Minimal/local travel is required to assist with off-site events and activities.

Responsibilities

• Support mission communications center operations
• Develop and coordinate product content for events
• Collaborate with communications teams and data visualization experts
• Articulate concepts and rationale directly to clients
• Manage timelines, set expectations, and delegate work to your team
• Lead by example and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) required
• 5+ years of communications experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience)
• Experience in defense and/or national security communications
• Strong ability to provide and receive constructive criticism
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Comfortable working in high-pressure environments and solving challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WordPress-based content management systems
• Executive or front-office level communication experience
