Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 – $90,000. Salary is a general guideline; final offer considers position, responsibilities, experience, education, training, and skills.

About the Role

Advanced Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Communications Capabilities Instructor; delivers instruction on current and emerging communication and navigation technology, EMCON watchbills, Blue Force Trackers, and crypto management for the SBT IDTC.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology.
• Assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
• Provide instruction related to current/emerging Blue Force Trackers (BFT).
• Utilize crypto management and apply it to advanced communications technology.
• Assist with liaison support and other Communication entities to identify and integrate emerging communications technologies.
• Assist with managing curriculum and providing instruction for current and emerging communications and navigation technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum five years' experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification per COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E. SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
• Five years' experience as a NAVY/NSW Instructor. Instructors support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management, and performance as opposing forces (OP4) as necessary.

Skills

• Effective communication with customer and fulfillment of all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Security Clearance

Secret Clearance required.

Citizenship

U.S. Citizenship required (position supports a U.S. Government contract).
