Communications Capabilities Instructor with Security Clearance

About the Role

We are seeking a Communications Capabilities Instructor to provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology in Virginia Beach, VA. The successful candidate will have a Secret clearance and extensive experience as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC) and NAVY/NSW Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology.
• Assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
• Provide instruction related to current/emerging Blue Force Trackers (BFT).
• Utilize crypto management and apply it to advanced communications technology.
• Assist with liaison support and identify/integrate emerging communications technologies with other Communication entities.
• Manage curriculum and provide instruction for current and emerging communications and navigation technologies.
• Support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management, and performance as opposing forces (OP4), as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E.
• SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
• 5 years’ experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor.
• Secret clearance.
