Communications Specialist (Water Reclamation)

About the Role

Performs skilled work in the area of communications. Receives and relays messages via two-way radio, monitors telemetry systems, or performs general office clerical tasks as required. Work is performed under general supervision. Performance is reviewed while in progress for technical accuracy and judgment through direct observation and results obtained.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of dispatching and computer experience
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for the above qualifications

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience may be substituted:

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree

Pay

Salary Range: $18.92–$24.12 per hour
