About the role

Under general direction, this position is responsible for developing, designing, and managing internal communications content and tools, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud. The role focuses on creating impactful internal presentations, digital content, and collaboration sites using PowerPoint, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Forms, and related applications, as well as graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite. This position has frequent contact with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, and often leads projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate collaborates closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into engaging, user-friendly content and provides guidance on internal communication best practices, standards, and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal expert for Microsoft PowerPoint, formatting, creating and refining high-impact presentations, templates, and visual standards for internal audiences.
  • Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, and document libraries to support internal communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and administer Microsoft Forms for internal surveys, feedback, event registrations, and data collection; analyze and summarize results for stakeholders.
  • Create, edit, and produce internal communication materials (presentations, infographics, flyers, digital signage, and intranet content) using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Establish and maintain internal visual, branding, and editorial guidelines for digital and print content; ensure consistency and quality across all internal materials and channels.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and senior staff to understand communication needs and translate them into clear, visually compelling content and tools.
  • Develop internal graphics, photo galleries, and video projects, including coordination with internal teams as needed.
  • Maintain and organize internal content libraries, templates, and design assets within Microsoft 365 and Adobe tools to support efficient reuse and standardization.
  • Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are applied to internal content, including PDFs, presentations, and SharePoint pages.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and handle internal communications with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional experience in communications, marketing, or a related field. Additional professional experience in communications or design may be substituted in lieu of education.

Skills

Must demonstrate:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including templates, slide masters, animation, editing, and data visualization.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, including site and page architecture, permissions, content management, configuration, and governance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Forms and related Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Excel, Power Automate) using results to generate reports, dashboards, or summaries that inform decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere for graphic design and video editing, and Adobe Acrobat for complex PDF creation, editing, and form development.
  • Knowledge of internal communications principles, visual communication, and user experience for digital content.
  • The ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex internal communication and design problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately convey information to a variety of internal audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees, project teams, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn and apply new tools within the Microsoft 365 and Adobe ecosystems.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment, as well as the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Pay

Salary range: $73,700 - $128,780
