About the role
The Communications Specialist position at the City of Edinburg is responsible for managing the city's public information and digital presence. Key responsibilities include:

- Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- A current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- An attention to detail.
- Dependability.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Communications Specialist position, candidates must:
- Have a minimum of an associate's degree in Mass Communication or a related field.
- Have two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- Hold a current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record.
