Responsibilities

  • Writing, editing, and analyzing data for various strategic initiatives and client requests.
  • Fostering and improving messaging and communication for initiatives while maintaining positive relationships with project leaders.
  • Participating in Communication Department meetings and events.
  • Supporting communication needs of organizational strategic initiatives and client requests through effective writing, planning, coordination, design, and execution.
  • Monitoring project deadlines for consistent delivery.
  • Executing communication audits as needed to contribute to approach and timeline for utilizing communication partners.
  • Cooking and distributing communication toolkits and other relevant materials.
  • Developing materials to support go-lives as needed, monitoring execution and distribution to ensure accuracy and delivery to end-users.
  • Developing post-implementation communication related to mass audience changes.
  • Guiding and directing assigned field communication champions on communication efforts and distribution timelines.
  • Gathering and analyzing information skillfully and resolving problems in early stages with minimal supervision.
  • Working closely with supervisor to support communication requests.
  • Completing tasks in a proactive manner, actively seeking ways to produce high-quality, efficient work, responding promptly to assignments and tasks as requested, and adhering to deadlines.
  • Displaying original thinking, seeking increased responsibilities, and demonstrating willingness to make sound and accurate decisions.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editorial skills required.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles and InDesign required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility, and adaptability to change a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Moderate travel required.
  • Ability to develop content for various communication vehicles, including speeches, talking points, presentations, and social media/thought leadership content.
  • Executive presence and professionalism to interact regularly with top executives.
  • Ability to articulate complex information in understandable and relatable terms to all levels of staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and project management skills with the ability to finish projects on deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with information that may be confidential in nature.
  • Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution are important.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, skills, and procedures.

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of experience [Required]
  • 1+ years of experience in writing in a technical, healthcare or business environment. [Required]
