Communications & Marketing Intern

Arlington County's Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a creative and organized Communications & Marketing Intern to join the Director's Office Communications Team.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-wide communications, marketing, outreach, and engagement initiatives
• Develop content
• Coordinate communications projects
• Improve internal processes
• Assist with executive and cross-divisional communications

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in digital media and social media platforms
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Interest in public sector and community engagement
