Communications Manager, VILLAGE SCHOOL
Position Summary / Job Goals
The Communications Manager leads and executes The Village School's internal and external communications strategy to ensure consistent, compelling, and mission-aligned messaging across all platforms. This role oversees internal communications, school-wide newsletters, website management, event communications, and social media account management. The Communications Manager works in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager to align messaging with broader marketing initiatives, enrollment strategies, and brand positioning, while maintaining a strong focus on community engagement and storytelling for current families, faculty, staff, and prospective families.
Qualifications / Training
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field
- Experience managing websites and content management systems
- Experience managing social media platforms for an organization
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
