What you'll get to do

  • Global Communications:
    • Create narratives to pitch to media outlets around collections and brand history.
    • Leverage the Creative Director’s relevance within the industry.
    • Support on activation strategies pertaining to influencer relations in partnership with Director, VIP.
    • Maintain a keen and timely understanding and relevance in industry related matters.
    • Partner with Logistics Manager, Product Development, Design and across all teams to ensure smooth communication on sample requests, focusing on editorial, beauty (e.g. Fragrance campaign shoot) and VIP requests.
    • Show, Events and Pre-Collection:
      • Assist in maintenance of seasonal invitation list for global press, VIP and influencers, in partnership with global PR agencies.
      • Liaise with external teams’ respective lists: Wholesale, Retail, Intl PR, Corporate HQ, Institutional, Internal executives.
      • Support in press release creation and ensure timely deployment worldwide.
      • Leverage all events (branding/wholesale/retail) to maximize local and national press across print and digital opportunities, and ‘One Brand’ opportunities where possible.
      • Lead influencer and brand ambassador press strategies and the planning and execution of campaigns alongside internal teams (in the US and abroad).
      • Help with management of press days and previews/reviews.

    Reporting

    • Oversee communications portion of Weekly Marketing and Communications report.
    • Manage Post-Show/event attendance report and recaps.
    • Manage YoY/SoS reporting for key brand moments i.e. Show and Met Gala.
    • Work alongside the insights team and use social listening tools e.g. Launchmetrics. Lefty to identify and build an understanding of our audiences and trends, synthesizing results and key action items in timely reports.

    Requirements

    • Self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual with deep understanding of global press and fashion creative landscape and innate sense of luxury storytelling extending to beauty and fragrance.
    • Strong passion for the luxury fashion industry.
    • Confident and comfortable in representing the brand internally and externally to key stakeholders and partners.
    • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in marketing and communications, preferably in ready-to-wear or accessories luxury industry.
    • College Education required.
    • Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to work as a team, keen multitasker who can spearhead projects on his/her own with accountability.
    • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Fashion GPS, Lefty, Adobe Acrobat a plus but not required).
    • Budget/revenue management experience preferred.
    • Proactive, energetic, curious out-of-the-box thinker with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

    Benefits

    A reasonable estimate of the current salary is $80,000-$95,000 USD.
