Communications Coordinator

About the role

The College of Health is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the communications team. The role involves developing and disseminating content via internal and external communications and marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate content for internal and external communications and marketing channels.
• Develop engaging content that reflects the College’s strategic priorities.
• Maintain efficient workflows for all the College’s communications channels.
• Collaborate closely with the College of Health’s other communications staff, as well as with faculty and staff.
• Build public awareness of the College’s academic programs and activities.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Support the College’s student recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop written content appropriate for a range of media, formats, and audiences.
• Ability to create images and multimedia materials to support public relations and communications goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task simultaneous responsibilities.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
