About the role
The College of Health is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the communications team. The role involves developing and disseminating content via internal and external communications and marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and disseminate content for internal and external communications and marketing channels.
- Develop engaging content that reflects the College’s strategic priorities.
- Maintain efficient workflows for all the College’s communications channels.
- Collaborate closely with the College of Health’s other communications staff, as well as with faculty and staff.
- Build public awareness of the College’s academic programs and activities.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Support the College’s student recruitment efforts.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop written content appropriate for a range of media, formats, and audiences.
- Ability to create images and multimedia materials to support public relations and communications goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task simultaneous responsibilities.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
