About the role

As a Communications Coordinator, you will help manage all correspondence areas between management, committees and the board of directors.

Responsibilities

  • Understand community association operations, governing documents and processes and procedures
  • Draft and distribute weekly lifestyle electronic newsletter
  • Update, maintain, and coordinate information displayed on the association website
  • Send meeting notices
  • Post minutes, contracts, and other documentation to portal and server
  • Update digital signage players inside the Community Center
  • Host Zoom and virtual meetings as needed
  • Put together monthly management update based on information provided by other members of the team to send to the Board of Directors
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director in coordinating the distribution of information related to lifestyle events hosted by the community
  • Create marketing materials as needed for the promotion of various events and activities
  • Assist Lifestyle Director with aspects of Ticket Tailor event registration
  • Monitor Ballroom Rental Events as needed
  • Cross-Train on front desk support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or similar discipline
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with a team and independently
  • Capable of delivering an exceptional level of service to our clients
  • High level competency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Preferred efficiency in Canva and Constant Contact
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others
  • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats and in a timely manner
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively
  • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness
  • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships

$24.00-$26.00 / annually
