Communications Consultant 3
About the role
This role meets the communications needs of clients by delivering standard and/or custom communications solutions on behalf of plan sponsors or internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee work of more junior staff and assign projects as needed
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to review communication needs, deliverables, and budget implications
- Ensure compliance of communications solutions within the regulatory environment
- Establish and report metrics to measure success of communications strategies
- Manage ad hoc endorsement mailings, writing scripts and test cases with Technology partners
- Coordinate business and technology interfaces along with template management
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or client-facing roles (required)
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or client-facing roles (preferred)
- University degree (preferred)
- FINRA Registrations SRC Indicator: NRF
- Sedentary work physical requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or client-facing roles, specifically in financial services or retirement marketing
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, retirement plans, benefits communications, or related field
- Proven project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, workflow tracking systems, or project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of TIAA investment products, services, and retirement plan structures
- Familiarity with retirement industry regulations (ERISA, DOL guidelines)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software
- Salesforce or CRM platform experience

Pay
Base Pay Range: $105,000/yr - $134,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
