Communications & Change Management Specialist (contract)
About the Role
We are seeking a Communications & Change Management Specialist to support one of the Corporate Trust organization's highest-priority transformation initiatives. This role will develop and execute communication strategies that keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and prepared throughout the implementation of a new digital platform. Working closely with project teams, business leaders, and training partners, the specialist will create compelling communications that promote awareness, drive user adoption, and support organizational change.
This is a 5-month contract with the potential for extension, located in Lake Mary, FL or New York, NY, or 100% remote for candidates outside those office locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop communication plans and messaging that support transformation initiatives while ensuring consistent, timely communication across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Create executive communications, presentations, newsletters, email campaigns, FAQs, talking points, announcements, and other communication assets that clearly communicate project updates and business changes.
- Partner with project managers, business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to gather information, coordinate messaging, and align communications with project milestones.
- Develop communication campaigns that build awareness, prepare users for new processes, and encourage successful adoption of digital solutions while supporting organizational change initiatives.
- Collaborate with Training & Enablement teams to develop supporting communications, user guides, and training collateral while managing multiple communication deliverables across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing communications, project communications, or change management.
- Proven experience developing communication plans, executive presentations, newsletters, email campaigns, and other business communication materials.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience communicating to diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to develop effective communication strategies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, digital modernization, or technology implementation initiatives.
- Background in Financial Services, Banking, or Corporate Trust environments.
- Experience using enterprise communication platforms such as SharePoint or Poppulo.
- Experience creating training materials, user guides, or learning content.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and user adoption strategies.

Pay
Pay rate range: $96 - $108 USD hourly.
