Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and manage content calendars for digital, social media, email, and print communications.
- Write, edit, and distribute newsletters, donor communications, announcements, and marketing materials.
- Gather stories and content from staff, programs, and community stakeholders.
- Manage website content, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and brand consistency.
- Oversee social media platforms, scheduling, and audience engagement.
- Track and report communication performance metrics across digital channels.
- Maintain brand standards and visual consistency across all communications.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, printers, and other creative vendors.
- Develop templates and communication resources to support organizational initiatives.
- Support marketing and promotion for fundraising events, community events, and organizational campaigns.
- Coordinate media outreach and external visibility opportunities.
- Manage communication requests across departments and establish project timelines.
- Improve communication workflows and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications And Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, nonprofit communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience.
- Proven experience developing communications strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Strong visual and creative judgment.
- Experience managing vendors and creative partners preferred.
- Proficiency with website platforms, email marketing systems, social media management tools, and content management systems.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and related communications tools preferred.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
