Communications Assistant-Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Communications Assistant (Entry Level) to join our growing event marketing and fundraising team. This role supports public outreach initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and live marketing events for nonprofit organizations and community-focused clients. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in communications, public relations, event marketing, nonprofit outreach, fundraising, and brand representation. No previous experience is required—we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support communications and outreach efforts for nonprofit and community campaigns
• Represent clients at fundraising events, retail activations, and promotional events
• Communicate campaign goals, client missions, and community initiatives to the public
• Engage with community members through professional and meaningful conversations
• Help increase awareness, participation, and support for client campaigns
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, donors, and community partners
• Assist with event coordination, promotional activities, and campaign execution
• Gather feedback and share insights to improve outreach efforts
• Participate in training focused on communication, leadership, marketing, and professional development
