Communications and Content Coordinator (Part-Time, Temporary)
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to map content accordingly.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, etc. Also remove duplicated lines.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include sections that have real content.
We have:
- Organizational Overview: description of Jumpstart Kids. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" maybe corresponds to Position Overview? The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can choose headings that match content.
We have:
- Position Overview: description of role. Could be "About the role".
- Key Responsibilities: list of duties. Could be "Responsibilities".
- Qualifications: required and preferred. Could be "Qualifications" or "Requirements". We have both Required and Preferred. Could combine under Qualifications.
- Skills: maybe we could extract skills from qualifications? But we can also put under Qualifications.
- Benefits: we have Salary & Benefits section with hours, duration, compensation, benefits statement. So we can have Benefits heading.
- Pay: we have compensation $32/hour. Could be Pay heading.
- Schedule: we have Hours: 20–25 hours/week, remote flexible, travel less than 5%, start date target asap, location remote flexible within US Boston, Atlanta, NYC preferred. So we can have Schedule heading.
We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have actual data.
We must not include application instructions (To Apply ...). Remove that.
We must not include EEO boilerplate.
We must not include duplicated lines.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We'll structure:
About the role
About the role
Organizational Overview ... Position Overview ...
maybe combine. But we need to preserve all substantive info. Let's parse. Organizational Overview: "Jumpstart Kids is the leading early childhood literacy nonprofit. Since 1993, we have trained caring individuals to support the work of teachers and families, using a research-based, play-based approach that helps young children build literacy, language, and life skills. To date, our programming has reached hundreds of thousands of children in early learning settings nationwide." Position Overview: "The Communications and Content Coordinator supports Jumpstart Kids' marketing and communications work by building and executing the recurring production that keeps our social media, email, and website channels running on schedule. This role brings Jumpstart Kids’ established voice and visual identity to life across channels, working from existing templates, calendars, and direction set by the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Brand. This is a production-focused role, designing and editing graphics and short-form video, posting content, building and sending emails, and publishing website updates with accuracy, consistency, and reliable turnaround. Success in this role looks like consistent, on-time execution, with content and emails going out accurately and on schedule, campaigns free of broken links or formatting errors, and quick turnaround on feedback and revisions." We can combine into About the role section. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities broken into Social Media Production, Email Communications, Website & Digital Updates. We'll output as- each bullet maybe with subbullets? The instruction: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can have top-level list items for each responsibility area, and within each we can have further detail maybe as
or nested list? Probably we can keep as
- containing the description. Could also break into sub-items but not required.
Qualifications: Required and Preferred. We'll list as
- each.
Skills: Could be part of Qualifications; but we could also have a Skills section listing specific skills: proficiency with social media platforms, experience with scheduling platform, experience with email design tools, comfort with Canva, basic short form video creation, basic copywriting ability, ability to work from brand guidelines, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliable self-directed, manage multiple deadlines, preferred: WordPress familiarity, GA4 familiarity, understanding of nonprofit marketing or education sector.
But we already have qualifications covering that. To avoid duplication, we could have Qualifications section covering required and preferred, and maybe Skills not needed. However instruction says we can use Skills heading if we have real specific content. We have skills list; we could put them under Skills. But then Qualifications would be just years of experience? Might be splitting. Better to have Qualifications for required experience and education, and Skills for specific abilities. Let's see.
Required: 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, content creation, design, or similar field. That's experience requirement.
Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) - skill.
Experience with a social media scheduling/management platform (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar) - skill.
Experience with email design tools (Constant Contact or similar) - skill.
Comfortability with using Canva for basic graphic design - skill.
Basic short form video creation and editing experience - skill.
Basic copywriting ability; can adapt to a provided voice and messaging framework - skill.
Ability to work from brand guidelines and templates and follow direction - skill.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - skill.
Reliable and self-directed; able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously - skill.
Preferred: WordPress familiarity, Google Analytics 4 familiarity, Understanding of nonprofit marketing or the education sector - skill/knowledge.
Thus we could have Qualifications heading for the experience requirement (2+ years). And Skills heading for the list of skills. But the instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have both Qualifications and Skills. We need to decide what goes where. Qualifications: maybe the required experience (2+ years). Could also include education? Not mentioned. So we can put that. Skills: all the proficiencies. Benefits: we have benefits statement: "This temporary, part-time position is not eligible for the organization's standard employee benefits, including company-sponsored PTO, vacation, or holiday benefits, except to the extent required by applicable law." Also we have hours, duration, compensation. But we have separate Pay and Schedule sections. Pay: compensation $32/hour. Schedule: Hours: 20–25 hours/week; Duration: 8-10 month temporary position with potential to renew; Travel Less than 5% travel; Start Date Target onboarding: as soon as possible following offer acceptance; Location Remote, flexible within the U.S. Boston, Atlanta, NYC preferred. We could also include FLSA Status: Non-exempt, temporary maybe under Schedule or Benefits? Probably Schedule. We must not include boilerplate like "FLSA Status: Non-exempt, temporary" maybe it's substantive; we can include under Schedule. Now we need to ensure we don't repeat info. Let's craft sections:
