About the role
To strengthen strategic advocacy and communications support for ongoing advocacy and partnership on regional priorities by developing, coordinating, documenting, and amplifying regional and country-level visibility and advocacy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Knowledge Management, International Development, Partnership Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in communications, advocacy, knowledge management, or partnership management, preferably in the development/humanitarian sector with a focus on water, sanitation, climate change, or related issues.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an asset.
Skills
- Strong experience in developing advocacy and communications strategies and products.
- Proven track record in knowledge management, partnership coordination, and donor reporting.
- Excellent writing and editing skills for external and internal audiences and donor community.
- Experience with knowledge management and documentation.
- Familiarity with UNICEF branding and content strategies (an added advantage).
Desirables
- Experience working with UN agencies.
- Previous work on water scarcity, WASH, or climate change advocacy.
