Communications Agent
About the role
The Communications Agent is responsible for organizing, planning and executing a safe on-time operation which requires coordinating between multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a strong culture of safety.
- Monitor all flights in progress for possible delays, weather, flight cancellations, and communicate accordingly.
- Input arrival and departure information and code delays into a data entry system.
- Monitor the station’s ground to ground radio system, and effectively communicate information.
- Monitor the air to ground radio system with inbound and outbound flight crews on special services needed.
- Plan for and coordinate aircraft tows, deicing priorities, and act as the liaison between other departments and station operations.
Requirements
- Strong diplomacy, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide quality internal customer service.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
- Able to perform basic mathematics.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Able to obtain airport security clearance.
- Able to communicate in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Skills
- Preferred: A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience.

Pay
Starting Rate USD $21.10/Hr.
Schedule
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
