Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communication strategies supporting Enterprise Manufacturing Technologies priorities and initiatives
  • Create and deliver engaging content across internal communication channels, including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams, email, town halls, and leadership presentations
  • Translate complex manufacturing technology topics into clear, actionable communications for diverse audiences
  • Partner with leaders, product teams, HR, and communications stakeholders to drive consistent messaging and employee engagement
  • Support organizational communications, events, recognition programs, and change initiatives while ensuring alignment with Deere brand and communication standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, change management, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical or business concepts into clear communications
  • Experience managing multiple communication projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and communication platforms, including SharePoint and Teams

Skills

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, technology, operations, or digital transformation organizations
  • Familiarity with manufacturing technologies, automation, AI, data analytics, SAP, or operational technology concepts
  • Experience with executive communications, change management, and technology adoption initiatives
  • Experience creating multimedia content, including presentations, videos, podcasts, or digital campaigns
  • Able to use communication metrics and stakeholder feedback to improve communication effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Education: Ideally a degree or equivalent related work experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Communications, Organizational Communications, English, or a related field. A Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications or formal development in change management, employee communications, public relations, digital marketing, or project management are preferred

$77,628.00 - $116,436.00 + Benefits
