Commodity Specialist
Purchase raw material
- Purchase raw material at the lowest price possible while maintaining quality standards.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers and coordinate delivery with manufacturing needs, taking into consideration supplier lead time requirements, business needs, and optimal order quantities.
Communication and Coordination
- Maintain and develop communication with manufacturing personnel to resolve delivery, quality and price problems.
- Communicate daily with supplier representatives and contract carriers concerning delivery.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Drive improvement of supplier relationships and develop trust benefiting both parties.
- Maintain standard of quality products specified on all purchase orders and resolve issues with suppliers.

Qualifications
