Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
- Help with meals, errands, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home
- Respond calmly and responsibly when unexpected situations arise
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals
- Purchase food and household supplies
- Make and change beds
- Clean and dust household supplies
- Mop floors (with a mop) and vacuum
- Clean bathroom and kitchen
- Wash dishes
- Launder, sew, and iron
- Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
Requirements
- Compassionate and genuinely care about others
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong communicator
- Comfortable working with seniors
- Able to provide reliable transportation
- HHA or CNA certification preferred
- Experienced in senior care (a plus)
