About the Opportunity
The Commissions Analyst will play a critical role within the Revenue Operations team by managing and optimizing the commissions process. This position supports sales performance by administering commission plans, generating reports on key performance indicators, and analyzing business operations to identify improvements. The role contributes to ensuring accurate and efficient commissions processing, which supports overall sales effectiveness and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly commission calculations
- Administer and design commission plans across sales functions
- Manage updates and enhancements to commission software
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on sales representative KPIs and progress
- Create commission plans and support onboarding of commissionable employees
- Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for improvement
- Consolidate data reports to aid strategic decision making
- Improve key sales processes for efficiency and scalability
- Use analytical skills to extract insights from data
- Support business reporting and analysis for other organizational areas
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations with a focus on analytics, preferably in enterprise SaaS or software
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Experience with Xactly or similar commission software
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Intellectual curiosity and strategic problem-solving ability
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Capability to build trust-based relationships across seniority levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including data storytelling and presentations to senior leadership
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as modeling, statistics, financial analysis, and reporting
